Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky is a beautiful film based on a compelling real life story of love and betrayal that happened in the 1920s. The film has an absolutely gorgeous visual style with a palette reminiscent of Chanel's classic collections; black, white and beige. The film also plays with different compositional elements, such as bold symmetry, and interesting neo-noir lighting techniques.
Stills after the jump!
Sometimes-futile attempts to write about the vast world of underground, overground and overzealous cinema. Add a dash of inspiration and stir.
